    u - 2/3 = - 4/3 u - 3/5

    Multiply everything by 15(the GCM of 3 and 5) you get

    15u -10= -20u -9

    15u+20u= -9 +10

    35u=1

    u=1/35

    Add 4/3 U and 2/3 to both sides to isolate U. 7/3 U = 1/15

    Divide by 7/3, or multiply by 3/7, to get U. U= 3/105

    u - 2/3 = -4/3u - 3/5

    => u + 4/3u = -3/5 + 2/3

    => 7/3 u = 1/15

    => u = 1/15 * 3/7

    => u = 7/5
