How do you pronounce the name Elodie?
Sorry for the stupid question. Anyway,
I always thought it was El - oh - dee, but now I'm hearing both Ay loh dee & El uh dee.
Personally, I think El uh dee is the prettiest way to pronounce it, but I'm not sure it's the way you're supposed to or now. Is there any other way to spell the name to make this pronunciation correct? Or is this already the right pronunciation? Thanks in advance.
** the way you're supposed to or noT. (not now.) Sorry for the typo.

Like Melodie but without the M. So I guess I would pronounce it El-oh-dee. Although I've heard people pronounce Melodie as mel-uh-dee too, so I guess the El-uh-dee pronunciation would technically be acceptable/correct also depending on your regional accent. The E does not make an Ay sound without the help of some other vowel, so the Ay-loh-dee pronunciation is just right out as far as I'm concerned.

El-oh-DEE. At least, in its original language.

It's supposed to be like Melody, but without the M. But I guess some people might choose to pronounce it differently.
