What was one of your favorite songs by Davy Jones of the Monkees?

Davy Jones died today of a heart attack at his home in Florida.

My favorite song was I Want To Be Free.

Update 2:

Alex --- I wonder if someone will say who cares when you pass.

That's an easy question. Without doubt, my favorite song was "Theme For A New Love" and (I might add) he sang it solo without any backing vocals from Micky, Peter or Michael.

I don't think that many people would remember this song as it didn't really hit the charts as high as I thought it would.

By the way ~ here's some trivia for you and your followers. Did you know that Michael Nesmith's mother (Bette Nesmith Graham) was - with the help of a kitchen blender - the inventor of what was originally known as "Mistake Out"? Later to be named "Liquid Paper" and/or "White Out".
