CC is a shorten for Cubic Centimetre..it refers to the size of air that the cylinders of engine needs to work or the capacity of engine...if you look to engine consists of 4 cylinders with 1600 cc for example,that means engine needs to 1600 cubic centimetre of air to fill the 4 cylinders,in this case each cylinder will take 400 cc.
