what is meant by cc in bikes and cars?

    CC is a shorten for Cubic Centimetre..it refers to the size of air that the cylinders of engine needs to work or the capacity of engine...if you look to engine consists of 4 cylinders with 1600 cc for example,that means engine needs to 1600 cubic centimetre of air to fill the 4 cylinders,in this case each cylinder will take 400 cc.

    engine displacement in cubic centimeters.. it is te size of the engine in many cases it takes about 10to 15 cubic centimeters to make one horsepower .
