You don't know if she will survive the pregnancy & why would you risk the life of a perfectly sweet, lovable dog, just to have puppies? (Pups which will also be likely to die) if mom doesn't survive to nurse them and stimulate them to urinate & defecate. It is a 24 hr a day job, if mom doesn't survive. Small breeds are more likely to have birthing problems & often have small litters of 1 to 3 pups. If you don't know what you are doing, both she & the puppies may be at risk. As has been quoted, in most litters you can expect a 30% loss of life (although it isn't always restricted to just the pups).
Being cute is simply NOT a reasonable justification for breeding. She needs to be an outstanding breed specimen, needs to have a super temperament & also needs to be in superior health (tested for all normal genetic problems, common to her breed) before being bred. You will also need a serious stash of cash, or a very good credit card, to be able to do it. (You'll need a minimum of $2,000) for expenses. (Don't expect to make a profit!)
