Alcohol Distillation Question?
I understand that it is illegal to distill alcohol for consumption but if someone just has a small home still for personal use, will the ATF descend on them and arrest/prosecute??
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Technically it is but I have some to learn that a small production still for home use is not what the ATF or DEA gives a care about. They want the sellers of moonshine.

it depends on which state, becuase in missouri we can distill 100-200 gallons for personal use but it cant be sold without paying tax
if it is illegal in your state or province you will probly get a 2 days-a week in jail or a fine, now days its not that big of a deal

The alcohol will steam off at a decrease temp than the brew because it has a decrease boiling factor - in actuality it quite is flash factor is appreciably decrease so which you will in all probability finally end up with a huge bang, you does no longer boil petrol would you...

If a still is recognized from the air via thermal imaging and you can't prove it's your BBQ. Then you can get arrested, especially after the copper tubing and copper pots are discovered. Brew wine or beer. It's legal.
