Fun things to do in London?

Basically, I live in Buckinghamshire, in the countryside, but I'm in love with going to London. I'm a HUGE fan of BBC's Sherlock series, and since the characters live in London, I always just love being there. I'm 14 years old, and my sister is 10. My family are planning a trip up to London sometime soon, probably for the weekend. I really want to know some fun things to do in central London. I've already been on the London Eye, and been to Madame Tussauds, so any other suggestions?

    Visit the "Sherlock Holmes" restaurant!

Here's a link to the webpage for it:

    http://www.sherlockholmespub.com/

You'll recognize the address from the show...it's on Northumberland Street.

If you'd like to visit an actual location where the show was FILMED, you can go visit the Tapas Brindisa Soho Restaurant. It is the restaurant where the scene from "A Study In Pink" was filmed where Sherlock and John go to wait for the killer to show up after they texted him. (The scene where they were sitting in the window and Sherlock was looking out.) If you go during off-hours, maybe you can even get the window seat where they actually SAT. If you're a big fan of the show, it would be a fantastic photo opportunity for you on your trip. The address is 46 Broadwick Street in the borough of Soho.

See this link to it, here: http://www.sherlockology.com/locations/tapas-brind...

If you want to see where they film the outside of Sherlock and John's address, (it's supposed to be 221B Baker Street) that is at 187 North Gower Street, Camden, London. The little cafe that you see in the show that's to the right of their door is a real cafe. "Speedy's Sandwich Bar and Cafe". This would be another good photo opportunity for you.

Have a wonderful time on your trip!

There are a lot of fun things to do in London which can be inexpensive but very fun. Since you are coming from a rural area, I wouldn't suggest you go and visit the parks in London although they are still very nice and enjoyable.

I would suggest going to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich to learn about some fascinating things about stars and planets. Lots of people will suggest going to the different kinds of museums and things but the Planetarium normally doesn't get a mention.

In picadilly there is a restaurant called the rainforrest cafe. This is an amazing place to eat, there are moving statues of gorillas, giant butterflies on the walls, theres a waterfall inside and if youre lucky there will be a thunderstorm during your meal! I loved it :-)

Visit Baker Street? Better yet, if you can afford it, book a hotel on Baker Street.

Can't get more Holmes than that.
