There is not enough room here to describe all of these in any detail, so I'll make my answers as brief as possible.

    1. industrial policies

Five Year Plans - all economic activity controlled by the state, with centralised planning by the state planning board - Gosplan. Huge new factories, dams and mines built in the early 1930s.

    2. agricultural policies

Collectivisation of agriculture. All farms in a village amalgamated into a collective - with the collective taking ownership of all land, machinery and livestock: peasants paid a proportion of the profit (if any_ at the end of the year. Caused great hardship, and a famine in the 1930s, but produced an excess of grain for sale abroad, to fund the Five Year Plans.

    3. art/religion

All art had to follow "socialist realism" guidelines, realist art showing the industrialisation of the country, and gloried the collective, not the individual - except for Stalin and Lenin (as well as the other leaders) who were shown as: wise, kindly, hard working or almost saintly. Religion not banned, but severely curtailed. Proselytising banned, church schools closed, many churches and seminaries closed, all members of the congregation had to register, party membership and other privileges closed to members of congregations.

    4. education

Massive education drive, particularly in literacy - creating written forms of many (mostly Central Asian) languages for the first time, and in engineering, vital for the massive industrial programmes being built.

    5. control methods

Fear, propaganda, reward and genuine belief in communism.

    6. propaganda methods

Posters, cinema, radio, art, fiction and newspapers all were subject to communist control and anyone not adhering to prescribed forms would find themselves unable to work - at best.
