Who is more likely to "lose themselves" in this type of relationship?

When everything is equal. Meaning they both have no kids, no issues, and good jobs. A completely selfless man in a long term relationship with a woman who is totally selfish. Who is more likely to lose themselves? Are women more likely to become less selfish in another relationship rather than looking for a different type of guy? Would you consider a completely selfless man a "good man"? Meaning he lives only for her (selfish) love. Lol

A man should live for himself. Although there is nothing wrong with taking care of the household. Do not lose yourself to a selfish host. Sit back and re think, women are the champions at being manipulators, controllers, evil doers, con men, deceivers, misleading, nagging, backstabbers, takers, etc. Women will look for a different type of guy who is more like themselves. Just for a challenge. The selfless man should look to be left alone. While the selfish women is gone seeking someone like herself.

How can a 'taker' lose? If a guy who only lives for a woman, then in my opinion he wants a daughter instead of a wife. Anyway, relationships between people are complicated and unique. What works for one may not work for others. As long as they are happy, then that's it matters.
