is this grammatically correct ?

at one time i chatted with an american he said 'i like meet people '.is this sentence correct grammatically ?or it is ok?


the sentence is ' i like meet people " because he said this sentence to me he is an american i have seen him on cam. that is the reason why i asked

    Depends on how it was said, in lazy American speak...

    "what do you do in your job then" ?

    "I people" ! instead of "my job entails meeting people and introducing them to others"

    No. It should be, "I like to meet people." It could also be, "I like meeting people."
