There are several red lights in this email. First and formost is the fact that it includes names and passport numbers of people supposedly accepted. This violated Canadian Law, specifically the Federal Privacy Act which would leave the person(s) sending this letter open to criminal charges if the information is real. Second although the language attempts to be formal and sound legal there are numerous gramatical and other errors throughout the letter that a government issued letter would not contain..
Another red flag is that Canada does not have a Directorate of Immigration and only the Federal Government can authorize individuals to come to work in Canada. Information relating to this can be found on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website at www.cic.gc.ca
Delete this email and do not respond to it, send them any information or money, or in any way correspond with or click on any links contained in it.

I don't know if it's real or not but I see a few red flags
First of all, farms cannot normally sponsor foreign workers for employment as that's not highly skilled work
Second, they should never give you other people's names, passport numbers and dates of birth which is an invasion of privacy unless you are a lawyer representing these applicants
Third, if you did not have a face to face interview with either your employer or their licensed recruitment agency in your country, then be wary as I don't know any employer who would hire anyone that they or their recruiter has not interviewed in person and verified their qualifications or references
Fourth, the address they gave you in Edmonton belongs to a medical clinic called Alberta Health Services
It is not a farm
Fifth, there is a real law firm called Campbell Cohen. Call them on the number listed on their website
They will confirm if they sent you this letter of if someone is falsely using their name.
Only pursue this if the real law firm confirms they sent you this letter and that the job offer is legitimate

This letter does not make any sense. It appears to be a fraud of some kind. Visas are not issued by lawyers offices and the private information included would never be sent out in this type of letter.Source(s): Retired Immigration Officer

If you didn't apply for the job, then it is always, always, always a fraud.
Lawyers cannot offer you visas or citizenships. Only the Canadian government can give you one.
