what is navy FTS sea shore rotation?

I am a Culinary Specialist 3rd class in the Navy, but I'm FTS (full time support) instead of regular active. I want to know when I'm eligible to go to shore duty but have no idea if I got a while, or right as my sea rotation is over. I would like to know also because if I can get a shore command I can finally start classes and work on my degree.

when is your PRD? that is when you can see if there are any shore billets available( do not be surprised if there are none. most shore duty for CS has been contracted out to civilians. )

You need to talk to your command career counselor, or the NC whereever you are stationed. He will be able to tell your your PRD (projection rotation date).
