Is it possible to have two J-1 Visas in a row?

I am French and therefore I'm not subject to the 2-year rule.

I will do an internship under a J-1 from April to august 2012 and then I need another J-1 Visa because I got accepted into a in New York for the academic year 2012/2013.

Is it possible to get 2 Visas in a row like that?

Not sure about the question because some of the words are incomplete.

"got accepted into a in New York for the academic year 2012/2013."

If you meant that you got into "a school" in New York, then you should look into obtaining a student visa.
