Who has called the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline?

Or like number? What happens when you call? Can they, if they feel you are too much of a threat to your self or others, contact the proper authorities?

Thank you in advance for detailed answers.

They will NOT call the authorities on you...that's the beauty of calling a hotline...you never have to worry about that..call them and they will help you...don't hurt yourself sweetheart.

You know who called the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline?

Those who survived and got over depression.

    YOU CAN DO IT TOO.

    Have hope! ^^

If you are a threat to yourself then they will probably call the local police. But really, if you're suicidal then being under their care temporarily will be but a small hiccup in the greater plan.

Have i ever called? No. Too proud to call when i contemplated suicide, never want to admit i'm weak.
