Why do the Jehovah's Witnesses call.....................?

Why do the Jehovah's Witnesses call their faith "the truth"? Last time I checked, the Jw org needed to keep changing their version of their truth. I just thought that "the truth" would not be subject to change! But their organization uses this term "the truth", like a God's exclusive way. It must be only the weak and gullible who keep following these changeable truths of theirs.

Update:

Credit given to those who have the strength to think and stand on their own, without the misguided influences given from that organization. These are the ones who see that organization for what it really is

Update 2:

Do you want to know what is "logically fallacious Elijah"? The fact that the Jw org calls it's own organization "the truth" based on nothing!....that's what is "logically fallacious". Look!...they have tried to give their best with predictions but they failed, failed, failed and failed. We can see who is fallacious. No need to try to defend it because it failed....end of story!

The Scriptures constantly refer to the body of true Christian teachings as "the truth," and Christianity is spoken of as "the way of the truth." (1 Tim. 3:15; 2 John 1; 2 Pet. 2:2) Because Jehovah's Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures on the Bible, their faith in the Bible itself as God's Word gives them the conviction that what they have is indeed the truth.

Solomon declared: “But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established.” (Proverbs 4:18)

The truth itself does not change, but the truth gradually becomes clearer to us as we persist in studying the Scriptures patiently and diligently. The meaning or significance of Bible prophecies also unfolds progressively. Daniel's prophecy clearly said that true knowledge would "increase" during the time of the end (Dan. 12:4). Only at "the conclusion of the system of things" would "the righteous ones would then shine as brightly as the sun" (Mt.13:24- 30, 36-43; 24:45-47; Acts 3:20- 21).

Most other religions have proved that they will not change doctrines such as the Trinity, the immortal soul, and hell fire even though their own scholars admit these beliefs are not taught in Scripture. In contrast, Jehovah's Witnesses have always been willing to change any belief in order to harmonize better with increased knowledge of Scriptural teaching.

So rather than rejecting Jehovah's Witnesses understandings of Scripture simply because they progress in their understanding of it, this should be recognized as a commendable effort! It is stupid to avoid accepting current knowledge which is solidly based on known facts just because we know there most likely will be changes or adjustments with increased knowledge. Every belief that is based on knowledge changes or is subject to change.

Do we refuse to believe our Doctor's life saving direction because of all the medical mistakes in the past? Such reasoning is clearly logically fallacious.

Jesus said "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free."

We, as sincere Bible students, wanted to know exactly what that truth is that Jesus spoke about. Jesus gave us an indication when he also said "Your WORD is truth (emphasis mine)."

Therefore, God's word the Bible... which is the inspired word of Jehovah God... is truth. What it contains about Jehovah, his purpose for the earth, his only-begotten son and the outcome for mankind is absolutely true. If a concept or notion isn't in the scriptures, then it's clearly not God's truth and is therefore a false teaching.

I posted another answer to a question of yours... the points I made there about false teachings stands for this post as well.

The truth as contained in the Bible is simple, you simply have to look for it. Most religious organizations stopped looking for truth in the scriptures going back as far as 325 C.E. at the council of Nicea, when a pagan, sun-worshipping ruler decided to introduce the concept of a three-headed god into Christianity and call it "the trinity."

Everyone thinks theirs is "the one true faith", that's why they follow it ~ however gullible that may seem.

They admit they had to "re-invent" Christianity.

It's also very convenient to have the "world translation bible" it conveniently twist the scriptures to fit nicely into their believes that no other mainstream bible believer believes
