What food makes you gain weight?

What food do you find makes you gain weight the most?

    Bread, Chinese, McDonald's, soda

    Fat is high in calories, so nuts, peanut butter, fatty meat, even cheese, butter, and homo milk (the really high % milk one).

    Also oil (and margarine).

    Pretty much any fast food is also very high in calories, but also very bad for you unlike the above examples (except for fatty meat and excess oil or fatty dairy products which aren't good for you either).

    Also, why do you ask? It might help me give you a better answer. For example if you're trying to gain muscle mass you're gonna wanna eat a diet high in protein not fat.

    Pasta and high carbohydrate foods. This carbohydrates break down into sugars and sugars turn into fats. But you still need to eat some carbs for energy.

    Anything with calories. Your body turns excess calories into fat regardless of where they came from. Per capital carbohydrates have the most calories.

    Food with high sugar content.

    Food with high fat content.

    Food with high salt content (as it promotes fluid retention).
