Now that the catholic thing is losing steam, what do you think Fox "News" wants the herd to be outraged about?

John Doe .... Polls suggest otherwise. Try again.

It's never too early in the year to start up the annual 'War on Christmas' rhetoric.

Oh I think Media Matters, a tax exempt organization, which holds weekly meetings with the Obama White House and was engaging on a plan to stalk, investigate, hire private detectives, to discredit and defame people who work at Fox News is a pretty important issue.

Which is why the Obama "Truth Teams" are being dispatched. The Propagandists are on their way and truth will be absent. Desperation makes normally smart people do amazingly stupid things.

Obama is doing just fine at creating the outrage and is enjoying it immensely. Michelle on the other hand is probably not amused. Apparently those who do not subscribe to the Obama way of doing things are the enemy.

    Too bad for us.

It definitely has not lost steam. The only reason why obama backed down was because he knew that such a thing would never pass. He has already lost a lot of voters in this stunt

Less converage in the Media does not mean that the issue is over.

A change has been proposed by the Obama administraion but not accepted by the U.S. citizens affected. This is not "a compromised that has been reached."

Instead of making religious based organizations pay directly for abortifacients and contraceptions, now the Administration shifted the "burden" from the organization to the insurance company. Now religious based organizations cannot buy insurance plans without abortifants and contraception. So these organizations still have to provide and pay for immoral medical practices.

This proposal may make things even worse. Now neighborhood churches (which were previously exempt) may now have to provide immoral insurance coverage since all coverage will include abortifants and contraception.

Health care is the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease, illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in humans. Pregnancy is not a disease, illness, injury, or a physical or mental impairment. Abortion and contraception should not be classified as health care.

But the problem here is not to tell people that they cannot have an abortion or contraception (that is another conversation) but religious liberty and forcing people who believe these things to be immoral to provide them and pay for them. This clearly goes against both our Freedoms of Conscience and Religion.

If the Government is allowed to infringe on people's basic human rights in this instance then what basic human right will be next?

"The conscientious scruples of all men should be treated with great delicacy and tenderness; and it is my wish and desire, that the laws may always be extensively accommodated to them."

    -- George Washington

"Conscience is the most sacred of all property."

-- James Madison, Author of the 1st Amendment

Bishops speak out against Health & Human Services mandate:

Wall Street Journal Op Ed on Religious Freedom:

In July 2009, President Obama met with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican. Afterward, Deputy National Security Adviser Denis McDonough said Obama was "very touched by the visit" and wants to find "common ground." The President's "common ground" seems to trash the basic human right of Freedom of Religion and the U.S. Constitution's 1st Amendment.

    With love in Christ.

Which fork the First Lady used to pick up her broccoli.

The fact that Obama has no tattoos ("what an elitist").

That Obama has never personally washed any of the Popes robes (must hate Catholics, then!).

Losing steam? Our church has more followers than any other organized religion in the world. We're just pissed because Obama is forcing Catholic institutions to cover contraception on their medical coverage. Something the church has been objecting to since it's existed.

You give Fox News way more credit than they deserve.

Hate to break it to you but most Americans are against Obama and people like you.
