Washington legalized same-sex marriage yesterday, If they try to prop 8 it, will it be overturned like in CA?

Same-sex marriage is a legal right in the state of Washington now, and since rights cannot be voted upon, does this mean a voter referendum is unconstitutional?

A sad sad day for the State of Washington. While most folks agree Gay couples should be protected in their relationship Rights like any couples, many folks in Washington will be so depressed these relationships are now being given legal 'approval'.

Hawaii is being sued for not providing "equal protection under the law". Same sex marriage is here. And it can't be fought off without sacrificing some of our basic principles.

If the judges in the case are mentally ill liberals then yes it will be overturned like in California.

this will be decided in the supreme court.. in most cases they come down to support states rights.. i wouldn't expect anything different here.. the ninth circuit has been overturned in 94% of their cases..

The Supreme Court ruled a million years ago that no state could legislate this issue, so yet again you fail
