JRF or Junior Research Fellowship is a program taken by the Phd students as a special category in research works.

Simple Phd is just a research program without any fellowship or scholarship given to the candidate.

An M.Sc or B.Tech fresher can avail a JRF scheme based on his master's degree marks. And in JRF program, there is industrial internship included in most of the cases.

My grandfather have been given a Doctorate in Geology and a couple of honorary Doctorates. He defined as for this reason. His Doctorate became into in accordance together with his lifes artwork-hereto the rcognition of the eighty or so medical papers that he has had revealed. A PhD is in accordance with a single thesis. for this reason, frequently, a real doctorate is in all hazard a miles better degree because it recognises genuine mastery of a complete occupation.
