Bill Murray or Chevy Chase?

Bill Murray, absolutely. Although Chevy Chase has humor and acting ability, Bill Murray can do slapstick, normal comedy, romantic comedy, dark comedy, AND serious roles. A comparison of their respective filmographies reveals also that (IMO) the caliber of Bill Murray's films is considerably higher. Chevy Chase has done some movies that are real dogs.

Scrooged, Groundhog Day, Zombieland, Rushmore, Stripes (one of my all-time favorite comedies, Ghostbusters...the list of the good is very long.

Im a diehard Chevy fan and although I agree Bill has a wider range of talent, I never really liked him. I prefer Chevy anyday
