Is drug testing a counter-productive measure?
Obviously, it is an invasion of the right to privacy, but in the "age of terror and propaganda," that argument is null and void. Can anyone else see what this is doing to the kids?? Let's see, would I rather have my kid smoking marijuana, or some cheap dollar store spices laced w/ poison from the Colorado River Toad's anus, which is deadly if taken in large enough doses, but does not show up on drug tests. Here is a short list of the LEGAL chemicals that can be found in cheap dollar store spices sold at your local head shop; hmm, I think marijuana might be safer... heck, good old fashioned cocaine is much safer than any of this crap:

You are spot on. Drug tests are basically Marijuana tests. Just about everything else runs out of the system in a few days.
"I took 20-years of drug testing in the military and yet no one calls that "unconstitutional" so why now is it "unconstitutional"? "
We're not all in the military. Just because you decided to sign your rights away doesn't make it sensible policy.
WHAT GOOD HAS DRUG TESTING DONE? IS THERE LESS DRUG USE NOW? HOW MUCH MONEY AND RESOURCES DO WE WASTE ROUTING THROUGH PISS?

I took 20-years of drug testing in the military and yet no one calls that "unconstitutional" so why now is it "unconstitutional"? The same lame argument is used to not test all federal employees! The only sane reason I can think of to argue against this measure is that it is cost prohibitive since the number caught is minimal compared to the actual costs of the testing. Better to eliminate the WASTE that is inherent in the entitlement system!

If someone stuffed what you know about chemistry into the anus of an ant, it would rattle around like a BB in a boxcar.

How about option 3? Actually pay attention to what your kids are doing? But who am I kidding? That's far too close to actually being responsible for any liberal to ever even consider doing.

I'd rather have my kids not doing drugs at all instead of taking the easy way out and hoping they just smoke pot.

"sophist" is accurate, I'll give you that. you take a few unrelated "facts" and spin them into a conspiracy to deprive people of fundamental rights

The True Question is ....
Why You Can't Figure it Out by Yourself...??
