Doesn't this give the lie to the claim that "jihad" refers to an internal spiritual struggle?
Muslims and their multicultural liberal allies want us to believe that the Quran’s many, many commands to wage jihad refers to an internal spiritual struggle, not a physical struggle against us unbelievers. But this is what Quran 4:95 says:
“Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives.
Allah has preferred the mujahideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to both Allah has promised the best [reward]. But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward.” (quran.com)
The meaning is clear: Only able-bodied Muslims who sacrifice “…their wealth and their lives” – mujahideen warriors like al Qaeda -- against us unbelievers will be most favored by Allah.
Maybe that’s why there are so many civil wars?
Do a Google search on “civil wars in the world.” Research each individual civil war and you will find one common combatant in 90% of them: Muslims. Muslims are involved in civil wars in China , Russia , Bosnia , Cyprus , Macedonia , Israel , Pakistan , India , Indonesia-Ambon & Halmarhera , Côte d'Ivoire , Kashmir , Kosovo, Kurdistan , Kirghizia , Nigeria , Philippines , Somalia , Turkey , Chechnya , Sudan , Yemen , Thailand , Uganda , Azerbaijan and East Timor . Muslims fight against Zoroastrians, Copts, Hindus, Jews, Christians, animists, communists, Buddhists, Sikhs – against all non-Muslim nations and cultures.
If you deny this you haven’t done your own research -- or are practicing taqiyya (lying in order to defend or advance Islam).

Oh, there are 164 verses in the Quran about jihad being a physical fight. Muslims try to say it's just a struggle, usually internal. "Mein Kampf" means My Struggle too and well we all know where that book led.
Here are the verses:
This verse was used by Osama bin Laden. We know he believed in the physical, fighting, murdering jihad proclaimed by allah in the Quran. It shows that Muslims have to fulfill their end of their bargain with allah. He bought their souls!
Quran (9:111) - "Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme."

Muslims claim Islam means "peace" too. We all know that's not true. Muslims tell so many lies about their faith in order to trick people into converting, I see no reason to single this particular lie out. We all know what Jihad means and so do they!
Edit - Jihad has only ever meant one thing and those who encountered the imperialistic ambitions of early Islam understood it very well:
"Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.,,God is not pleased by blood – and not acting reasonably is contrary to God's nature. Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats... To convince a reasonable soul, one does not need a strong arm, or weapons of any kind, or any other means of threatening a person with death..."
