Why don't USA invade Saudi Arabia that have the largest Reserves of Crude Oil in the world?
why go after countries with small oil reserves like Libya or Iraq
- TheKittenLv 78 years agoFavorite Answer
Because the Saudis are already fully cooperating.
What do Saddam, Ahmadinejad and Qaddafi all have in common?
Well yes, they are all at odds with America's definition of democracy, but let's not be silly. That's got nothing to do with it. Never has. Nor does anybody care if one of them ends up owning one miserable nuclear warhead against the 4 000+ that already exist in the world.
They all have oil.
Yes, that's one.
The other one is: All three of these people have tried to set up an alternative market for oil, where oil could be traded in Euro, thus threatening the supremacy of the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency.
That would make the U.S. a normal country in terms of having to repay debts and stuff.

Saudi Arabia are already trading with the USA so what would be the point

Saudi Arabia makes nice with us so we don't have to invade. The others are less cooperative, so we invade as soon as we can find an excuse.

We are allies, and the USA does not "conquer" other countries. We are at war with Iraq over terrorism, and we are not even at war with Lybia at all. Also, we are trying to stop terrorism, why would we do this and become the terrorists. If nothing else, we would be removed from the UN for attacking without reason.Source(s): News, common sense

I.) Wrong section.
II.) It is "doesn't" not "don't".
III.) Because Saudi Arabia is our ally. Also, should we attack them, there would be numerous countries to come to it's aid and start WW III within a day.Source(s): Denken Sie kritisch

Because Saudi Arabia is our ally and gives us a ton of their oil already.

Because, as another use has already said, they're an ally (though not a friendly one) and already give us plenty of oil.
