you have to consider the context the authors of the Bible were in. You also have to consider the hundreds of times the bible has been translated. this was a time (the mention of homosexuality comes up in the old testament, ill make a point about this later) when kings and rich folk employed eunuchs for their own sexual desires. a eunuch is a man who has been castrated and therefore used entirely for his, you guessed it...backside pleasures. now this in itself is completely inhumane and im sure was done almost entirely against their will, unless the eunuchs were doing it for financial reasons. now these men obviously were homosexuals by nature, that was the only way they could have pleasure, and their method of finance. obviously this was a dirty, and very wretched way of life, so it was probably very obvious to include 'homosexuality' as a sin in the bible. of course, there were natural homosexuals, and men WITH penises, but that is entirely different. and a lot of christians don't realize that the majority of 'temple prostitutes' were eunuchs and they were suffering. homosexuality is only mentioned in a few verses, and doesn't go into detail, but that is what that truly refers to, and has NOTHING to do with the homosexuality of today, which i feel in my heart that God accepts with love. that doesn't stop bigots from quoting that verse on a weekly basis though, unfortunately.
