How can i get lipgloss off the tube?

How do you get lipgloss off of the tube. I have a lipgloss tht spilled out in my makeup bag and it's all over the tube, how can I get it off, I have tried soaking it in hot water then use soap and it won't come off,

Take rubbing achohol and just use that with a cotton ball

have you tried cleaning it with makeup remover? i find that that helps with any kind of spill!
