need simple algebra help (1-0.4x)*(1+x)*100=120?

(1-0.4x)*(1+x)*100=120

how do I figure this

    I don't know if this will be any help its been a while since I've done algebra but try taking everything away from the 120 except for the X and theres 2 of them so divide it by 2 I don't know its just a guess but anything you do to one side you have to take away from the other or something like that I don't remember my algebra I'd love to learn it again.
