Ok i got a white filling an it was to high so i got it file down?
An i think the dentist file it down too much an it lower than the othher teeth what are the damages to having a filling too low will it wear down faster or is it ok

Don't compare it to the adjacent teeth. What really matters is that it touches the tooth in the opposite (i.e., upper or lower) jaw with the right pressure. If there's a gap between the upper and lower teeth, it was filed too low.

no your fine... its better to have a low filing vs a high filling because if its high you will start to have tooth sensitivity and it eventually might break off ... if its low than ur not really using the filling as much so it'll will last you longer....Source(s): dental assistant
