I have a 1st degree burn on my arm is it normal for it to ooze sp*?

I Got burnt yesterday and seen a doc about it the gave me silver sulfadiazine and told me to wrap it up. But everytime I take the wrap off it looks all yellow and nasty. Is this normal or do I need to go back to the doc

If it is oozing, it is not a first degree burn, but rather a second degree burn. Burns must heal from the inside out...the opposite of say a cut or a scrape. Yes it is normal. Keep it clean and covered.

Your burn sounds normal. but stop looking, keep it wrapped up so it can heal
