As long as your screen is bigger, you will have less headaches

If your monitor is old, it could 'flash' without you being able to see it.

This could give you a headache.

If you are too close to the monitor or aren't looking at the screen in the right position, that could give you a headache too.

Having a LED screen could stop the headaches, I had exactly the same as you had, I bought a LED-monitor and since that day; no more headaches.

When you play PC games, you're closer to the screen then with console games. I suggest checking if you need glasses(does reading give you headaches too?). It may be that you're farsighted.

    Do you play in 3D?

Do you play too close to the screen?

Putting your brightness down may help.

Do you play games with lots of flashing lights?

    Hope this helps
