Passing a clot when ovulating ? ?

Can you pass a tiny clot color of blood while ovulating or can it be that you're pregnant and after being fingered you get a clot ?

I know some women who spot during ovulation but not clot or bleed. I personally just cramp and then start my period. If you are pregnant then you should not be clotting then either because that is usually a sign of a miscarriage, however, if you are pregnant and passing small clot-like material it could be your placenta starting to form and attach. I had that happen to me when I was 6 weeks pregnant. Scared the hell out of me!
