Tumblr Help Please !! ?

Question

So ive started a tumblr to post my work onto however ive gone to post my first image up and it says upload error, Why has this occured ?

The image is a .JPG file, its 830kb in size, and its 1520 x 552 in like visual size. Its a logo of sorts.

it's probably too big. make it smaller.

tumblr dashboard can show up to 500px width. you can go over, but it will link 'high-res' for the full size.
