what type of trees live in forests (hunger games)?

what kind of trees did you think where in the hunger games!

Since the 74th Hunger Games took place in the forests of the eastern United States, the trees there would be trees typical of the decidous forests of the region. Some that you will probably know are oak, maple, birch, etc.

Obviously pine, because the *SPOILER ALERT* Rebels in the third book that Katniss finds outside of district 12 at the lake house are trying to make a pine needle tea thing.************************************************ and while Katniss, Rue and Peeta are in the Arena Katniss starts eating bark from the pine or oak tree I can't remember. I pretty sure they are going to have the same trees as we have except for the *****SPOILER ALERT******one tree in the arena in the third book where there is water instead of sap.***********
