How can I got to sleep?

Its hard for me to go to sleep and it's very late and I'm not even tired but I can't take pills

    The current advice for the sleep deprived is simple. You go to bed when it is time to sleep. No TV, computer, video games, Facebook, smart phones, nada. The artificial light from those devices trick the brain into believing it is daylight. No caffeine or alcohol after dinner. If you cannot sleep get up and go sit in a chair and read until tired and try again. Here is a link that should be useful:
