Does the state of maryland have personal property tax on personal vehicles?

    No. I sincerely hope Governor O'Malley doesn't see this, it might give him ideas. We only have to pay our car registration (I believe $128 or so every two years) and to have our vehicles inspected for emissions (I drive a hybrid, so I'm exempt and I don't know what the frequency or charge is).
