does the TTC refund old tickets?

i still have a few of the old student tickets does the TTC refund them?

    Yes - if they are from 2010 or 2011. According to their website:

    Old TTC Senior/Student and Child tickets, and Day Passes purchased in 2010 or 2011 can be returned to the TTC for a refund of their original value.

    Starting January 3, 2012:

    TTC MDP Office (above Davisville Station),

    1900 Yonge Street, Toronto

    Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

    Starting January 3 to March 2, 2012:

    Bloor-Yonge Station

    Collector Booth (Bloor Street southside entrance)

    Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 7:00pm

    Ticket and Day Pass refunds by mail:

    Starting January 3, 2012:

    TTC Accounts Payable

    You could try to get a refund through the on-line service you purchased the ticket from if they did not tell you that you would not be allowed on board the plane without the pass. But, due to the length of time since this all took place I don't know that you can try to file for the refund. Give it a try and see if you can do anything.

    If you buy a ticket on line you get a confirmation number then you have to go to the check in desk at the airport and they will give you a boarding pass. That is unless you print your boarding pass online which you have to do. You cannot board a plane without a boarding pass. This is your fault as you obviosly didn't read your booking properly. You will not be able to get a refund for a ticket that is 1 year old let alone 5 years. Sorry!!!
