How do rolly pollies sleep?
- JohnnyLv 59 years agoFavorite Answer
I have examined thousands of rolly pollies searching for the answer to this same question. From my travels all over the world examining sleeping rolly pollies here are my statistics:
97% use the foetus position
02%use the freefaller position
01% use either the yearner or soldier positions
I found only one rolly pollie out of 2, 346, 421 subjects that used the starfish position.
I also found two sleep walkers out of the population.
If you have any other non gardening questions, please let me know. I am sure I can help because I have done research in almost any non gardening question you may have.
Hope this helps

Probably out flat if they are secure. The rolling is more defensive. Not something I lay away and think about.
