Should I be optimistic that the Pittsburgh Pirates will have a winning season this year?

As long as the Cubs are still in their division, they should be OK.

Well, they don't have much money to get anyone in the offseason. Luckily though, the division is weak. The Astros are obviously gone, the Cardinals/Brewers lost their top players, and the Cubs haven't done enough to become really good yet. So this could be an easy year for them to win the division, as long as the Cardinals/Brewers don't get hot late.

they willl bc braun is out and fielder wont stay for miluakee so they r weaker and there division is already weak. plus if it wasnt for that horrible stretch they had last year they woulodve done even better. this is a young team with a lot of talent and i would b suprised if they didnt go abouve .500
