Can 'Albannach na mara' mean "Scottish people of the sea" in Scots-Gaelic? HELP!?

I am President of a newly created Scottish Society of my university and we want to use Scots-Gaelic for our motto! PLEASE HELP, ASAP!!!!!!

    Albannaich (Plural) na mara -- could indeed mean literally Scots of the sea.
