Rewrite sec(x) as 1/cos(x) and tan(x) as sin(x)/cos(x)

So the nominator becomes [1/cos(x)]² which is the same as 1/cos²(x)

And the denominator becomes sin(x)/cos(x)

You will have

[ 1/cos²(x)] / [sin(x)/cos(x)]

Which is the same as

[ 1/cos²(x)] * [cos(x)/sin(x)]

by cancelling out cos(x), you get

1/[cos(x)sin(x)]
