Um...why are you getting a pet that you don't even know how to care for? Do you have any idea how irresponsible that is???
Yes it needs to eat "live bugs". They are not easy to handle and don't tend to enjoy it. If you aren't willing to feed it insects, don't get it. In fact, it's best if you don't get it anyway, seeing as you have no f'in idea how to care for the thing. Animals are not toys.

They're not good first time pets. Before you think about getting it, do your research. Yes, it eats live insects. It's not that hard to do it. No they don't like being handled. Its actually recommened not to hokd them. They do not get very big. Maybe over 8 inches. I would suggest something easier as a pet like a lepeard gecko or bearded dragon. They're fairly easy to care for. Don't get the lizard tonight. You sound like your being an impulse buyer by getting an animal and knowing absolutely nothing about them.
