9th Grade MATH Homework HELP!!! How do i explain the problem using words: 2x+y3=12 ELIMINATION!!!

    The sum of quantity x multiplied by two and quantity y multiplied by 3 is equal to 12.

    This is 1 equation with two unknowns, you need a second equation to solve for unique X and Y
