    I think you mean "etymology," the study of words--their definitions, derivations. Entomology is the study of insects.

    There is no word "agnorr," but I'll imagine that it is a verb that means "to express opposition in a strong and forcible way"

    from Latin agere "to act or do"

    and "nor" in the sense of "contrary"
