See, matters like these depends upon individual taste. It will be very difficult for a person to convince another on habits like food, fashion, religion etc. (The Sanskrit proverb is Loko bhinna ruchi: meaning it is inherent nature of people to have different tastes ). It will become not only futile, but will be even misunderstood as unreasonable imposition of views.
Therefore, if a person does not like non-veg for its nature smell and so on, so be it.
( I am not trying to hold a brief for Non-vegetarian food, as I am a vegetarian myself!) I am just mentioning the reality, that it would be a futile exercise to impose one's view on another. It can happen only by one's own analytical thought and conviction and not by debates.
