How would you spell these names +BQs?

1. Alison

2. Caitlin

3. Catherine

4. Isabel

5. Kaylee

6. Madeleine

7. Susannah

8. Taylor.

BQ: Susan or Susannah?

Middle name is Eloise (el-oh-eeze, as in Eloise at the Plaza. Like Elle Louise put together, i guess). Nickname would be Sadie. (I'm not pregnant, just wondering. I have seen Sadie used as a nickname for Susan more then once, so i'm just guessing it could be used for Susannah).

BQ2: What is your favourite name on the list and give me a middle name that you think would go well with it?

    7. Susannah

    8. Taylor

    BQ: Susannah! This is a gorgeous name; traditional and sensible but elaborate and lively too, and it's really uncommon now. Susan feels very plain in comparison, and I can't imagine it on a child; it was an extremely popular name in the 60s and 70s, so all the Susan's I know are middle aged. Susan Eloise wouldn't stand out to me, but Susannah Eloise has a definite spark. I like Sadie as a nickname, because it's much less common than Sue or Susie.

    BQ2: My favourite name from the list is Isobel. This is my current #1. It's timeless, elegant and feminine, and I like this spelling because it's much less popular and looks softer to me.

    I have Isobel Kathleen on my name list, and I also like:

    Isobel Carys

    Isobel Viola

    Isobel Madeleine

    Isobel Serena

    I don't often like using names ending in -a as middle names, but they tend to flow really well with Isobel.

    1. Alison

    2. Caitlin

    3. Catherine {I also really like the spelling Katharine}

    4. Isobel {Isabelle also looks pretty- but I'm not too keen on Isabel}

    5. Ceilidh{if you live in the UK, Kaylee if you don't}

    6. Madeleine {but this depends on how you pronounce it. Madeleine= Mad-uh-len and Madeline= Mad-eh- line}

    7. Susanna

    8. Taylor

    BQ: I think Susanna[h] is better- Susan just sounds a little too plain for my liking, but it's a decent name too. I prefer the spelling Susanna- it just looks a lot more elegant whereas susannah looks a little too 'country'. Eloise is a beautiful name too- but I think Susan Eloise would flow better.

    BQ: Madeleine is my favourite {but I also adore Catherine and Isobel}

    Middle names:

    :: Madeleine Kate

    :: Madeleine Ruby

    :: Madeleine Viola

    I like Susannah more than Susan, but Susan will be a great nickname for Susannah. Sadie is also a nice nickname for Susannah. Eloise is a great middle name for Susannah and it flows nicely.

    My favorite names out of the list are Isabel, Madeleine and Taylor.
