What are some interesting books being set durring world war 2?

I have to do a project in my social studies class, where I have to read a book having to do with world war 2. I have read a few already so just get an idea from them- once, then, Berlin boxing club and Ann frank. Those are the books I have read already but I'm looking for books kinda like that. Not to boring and is and injoyable read. (preferably teen or young adult)

One of the most interesting is "From here to eternity," which was filmed starring monty clift as the bugler who refused to be bullied into fighting in the ring. Burt Lancaster who was the sergeant who refused to be promoted to an officer, because he was fundamentally a working-class man. And "maggio," played by frank sinatra in his first dramatic role. Following his sinking as a star (and throat problem called his demise as a singer), and defeat romantically in regard to ava gardner.

The beginning of WWII was the background of the drama.

Another book is "The naked and the dead," by norman mailer. Who served in combat in the army, against all pressures to keep out.
