This is from a list I had on my former blog. They are completely cruelty free. Two brands that you may think are cruelty free and have not made my list are: the body shop and stella mccartney as they were both purchased by loreal a known animal tester. Avon/Mark and Mary Kay are also animal testers along with Estee Lauder, Clinique. Toms of Maine was purchased by an animal tester. Bath and Body works uses ingredients that have tested as does aveda. Petas websites aren't reliable 100 percent because they don't update often and often ignore parent companies.

If you want cruelty free deodorants that actually work:

    Soapwalla

    Pit Putty

    Florere

    Lavanila

    Rainwater Botanicals

    Cruelty Free Nail polishes:

    Zoya

"Leaping Bunny" (linked below) is one of the cruelty-free certifications available. They have extensive lists of different types of products that are cruelty-free, and they distinguish between individual and parent companies. There are other certifications out there as well, so between the different programs you should be able to compile a fairly comprehensive list.
