Which material is warmer for a jacket? Polyester, duckdown, wool etc?

I'm going to buy a jacket and I've come across several different materials and i was wondering which one will keep me the warmest. Price isn't a concern and the jacket will be used for going out in cold winter nights and to keep the rain off my back. So which material will keep me the warmest. Polyester, duckdown, wool, goosedown, etc.

    Goosedown and Thinsulate are the warmest. But with goosedown, the outer fabric has to be very waterproof and not just water resistant. L. L. Bean, Land's End, and North Face make great jackets. Good luck!! : }
