Was Arthur Laffer the Great Economist who engineered Reagan and America out of the last Bad Democrat Recession?
This is no Laffing Matter....Arthur Laffer today has officially endorsed Newt Gingrich for President. Want a higher salary with benefits that you can keep you house with this time....Vote for Gingrich 2012. With Gingrich we can return to the days of wine and roses steak and lobster and moving up in society. Time for some Peter Gabriel - Big Time circa 1985 the Great Reagan 80's are back soon. No anti semitic Obama or Paul needed. Besides Ron Paul is old enough to be Obama's Illegal Alien Drunk Driving Uncle from Kenya. Dump both of these clowns with Fast and Furious results.

Actually, the Great Economist who engineered America out of the last bad Republican recession (look at the numbers the recession began after Reagan took office) was John Maynard Keynes. Reagan followed the Keynes formula by cutting government revenue while increasing government expenditures (a massive expansion in defense spending) and running a large deficit -- sounds a lot like the Obama stimulus bill.

Why do you write like a mentally challenged person?
Laffer didn't 'engineer' anything - he just gave an absurd justification for what Reagan wanted to do anyway- bring down the top rate.
We basically have the same lower top rates now, and we are no better off for it. On the other hand the nation because an economic and military superpower with higher top rates.
Republicans will NEVER explain that one.

Before the Depression the GOP controlled the White House, House and Senate...depression. Before the 90's the GOP controlled the govt... recession. Before the Great Recession...well you know..The other common link is that every time it's been fixed it's been fixed by a Democrat dominated govt.

We Working People loved the 80's.
Reagan saved us from Carter's Destruction.
Now, we need someone to save us from Obama's Destruction.
