How do the X men in-roll the kids in the school?

like how do they ask the parents of the kids to send them there? cause they could live on the other side of the world and their parents might not know about their abilities.

Since being a mutant was a stigma, I'm guessing the parents (if they weren't totally oblivious or negligent) probably guessed their child was one. But before they could ship them off for Mutant Registration, or worse, one of the X-Men, usually turned up and filled them in on 'Xaviers School for Gifted Youngsters' which is what it was called in the public eye. In reality, Professor X probably found the new kid/mutant through Cerebro, and sent one of the x-men to pick them up and avoid a drama with the kids parents.

Those kids without parents...or runaways, usually find their way there on their own, or by meeting an x-man in their travels and being directed there.

People on the outside probably thought it was a preppy upper class boarding school or something.

    Hope this helps.

Well they have a Blackbird for one thing. Transportation isnt a problem

Also they explain the situation to both the child and their parents and give them the choice
