Why? Because Jedi's are fictional, just like every other religion in existence. Once we've put a blatant form of fiction in their category, they might just realise that their religion is pretty much the exact same.

I hate to break it to you, but there is no such thing as an officially recognised religion in the uk, except insofar as the Church of England is the established church.

No thanks, this distorts the census findings. The population of 'atheists' is reduced while the population of 'Other religions' increases... that's misleading.
